Ponder this ...
• What emotional waves are coming up that want to be released to wash away rather than sink in ?
• Can I allow for the discomfort knowing that doing so will heal and move me beyond rather than remain stuck in self-sabotaging thought patterns ?
• What needs to be allowed to slip away rather than tightening the grip ?
• What am I doing to make space and create readiness for the coming newness ?
From time to time, one must release the grime built up inside them to to free their emotions like the ocean. ~ Suzy Kassem
On this day before the New Moon, we can feel waves of emotions washing over us.
Notice how much of this is bubbling up through the cracks of the walls we’ve created to keep many of these emotions and their root causes in check, out of sight, repressed rather than properly processed.
We have the opportunity to release sources of tension, anxiety, worry, conflict, blame, self-flagellation at this time.
But we have to be willing to allow for and sit with the uncomfortable feelings, the difficult memories, the painful past.
Doing so let’s us see that, once we release our grip trying to keep them under control, they lose their form, begin to shed their meaning and ability to define us, and then get carried away by the outgoing tide of release preparing for what new is making its way into ourselves, our lives, our hearts, our minds, with Sunday’s New Moon.
Rebellion is fomenting beneath the surface. Let’s be ready to allow that to take place within ourselves so that we can step into being different, doing things in a different way, becoming different, rather than fighting to hold back and hold in.
