A note on reading these TarotScopes. If you have had your astrological natal chart done, then you can use your sun, rising and moon signs to get a more well rounded sense of what they have to offer. Your rising sign is how you act in the world. Your sun sign indicates your ego/self-identity as well as your deepest goals and wants in life (or, in this case, the primary goals and desires for the year). Your moon sign is your emotional self, how we respond emotionally and what we feel. Combine the TarotScopes for all three of those, and you get a much clearer picture of the energies affecting you for the year and the areas in which those energies will be most prevalent. If you only know your sun sign, that's fine and you can just go with that. If you would like to know your other signs, then I would suggest that you simply visit a website (it's free!) such as www.astro.com.
There are many ways to use and access the energies of an herbal ally. Some suggestions are : If you can ingest the herb in some form (directly, as an herbal essence or flower essence, as a supplement, as a tea), that is the quickest and most direct way to bring that energy into you and into your life; carry a bit of the herb around in a small pouch in your pocket or around your neck; put some of the herb or its essential oil in a bath; burn the herb as an incense, or diffuse the essential oil of the herb; use the essential oil of the herb (or the powdered form) to coat a candle and imbue that candle with the energy of the herb; bring the plant itself into your space (inside or outside) in order to infuse the space with the energy of that plant. Most of the herbs here are fairly easy to acquire in one form or another. If you are having trouble finding one, all of them are available (often in multiple forms) through Mountain Rose Herbs. [note : if you have questions on how to use candles for these or other purposes, contact HiC]

A boatload of changes appear in the heavens the first week of March. Mars turns Retrograde on the 1st. Saturn turns Retro- grade on the 2nd. And Jupiter turns direct in motion on the 6th. My guess is we’ll all be dealing with new conditions and unexpected shortcomings—relationships are the most likely source of something uncomfortable as Mars turns Rx in Libra and remains weak and debilitated until May 19 when he resumes direct motion. Caution lights are up. It’s time to throttle back during this once-every-other year Rx cycle.
Moreover, Mars is in his detriment in Libra as he is in the sign directly opposite his home sign, Aries. He’s like the teenager who has to take his sister to the dance and is not happy working in partnerships in Libra. So you can expect feathers to be ruffled easily and unexpectedly in some folks in the days and weeks ahead, and an aggressive spirit in others who had never displayed their anger before. Such is typical during Mars Rx and especially when in Venus ruled Libra—she gets her feelings hurt very easily. Cancer, Capricorn, Aries and Libra birth signs and planets in these signs will be wacked on the most during Mars Rx. You may have to deal with angry people and/or find anger building inside you like never before.
Everyone will have less energy during Mars Rx and need more sleep/rest time. We also have long Void of Course cycles in March due to all the other planets bunching up in small part of the Zodiac. This leaves lots of open space for the Moon to wander around in and turn V/C. This pattern will last awhile and it’s important to be aware of these unfocused periods of time especially when we have Rx periods. Mars is impulsive, impatient and has the mind of a teenager who wants things NOW! Many will hear that voice and jump into matters they are not prepared to face during the Rx cycle while the Moon is V/C. Fools rush in...
Saturn and Jupiter both Retrograde every year for about five months. Their cycles are not nearly as obvious or immediate as the Rx cycles of the personal planets. But there is a message in their cycles. Jupiter is the planet of expansion and he operates with more confidence by returning to direct motion, inspiring us to grow over the next 8 months. Saturn rules the structure of matters and he urges us to strengthen what we have during his Rx cycle rather than building new projects. Our mission is to follow both lines by keeping the faith (Jupiter) that the work we do now (Saturn) will pay off in the future. Another translation: Expand the matters that give you security and make some plans for the future. Mars Rx is a superb time to be building/creating a plane you’ll fly once the Rx cycle ends.
